i have personally never met brian
or dan. but based on his posts, dan seems like a pretty cool, down
to earth guy to me. _________________ '00 Suzuki GSXR600 (4-sale)

| Who I am really just doesnt
matter. Im just a girl that knows a lot of people and has been
around bikes for about 20 years. I normally keep my mouth shut until
someone starts bashing my friends and saying things that arent quite
the truth. Being at the spot taking pictures or videos of everyone
is not really being with Dan. You were at the same place and thats
about it. I will give you the Midwest "Stunter"..."Team" XMX thing.
You are probably right there with the wording. I just never thought
of it that way because everyone knows Dan IS...Team XMX. You know
its too bad this all happened because in the videos I have seen you
two looked like you were pretty good friends or at least were both
having a good time together. Lesson learned, forget and
forgive...move on. | |

Okay. I wanted to stay out of
this one as best I could, but I think there are some things that do
need a little clearing up...

This business was started in August of 2003...
You didnt even own a streetbike when the site was built. I
could have built my own site then and never had any of the
problems that you have caused! | Brian Smith has owned a streetbike since April of
2003. He was the one filming the helmet cam footage at the support
the troops ride may 4th, 2003, which was featured in "A Few Loose
Screws". Those who are close to Dan well know that Dan couldn't have built his own
website on his own at this time, he didn't even learn how to edit
websites until he asked brian for help. (Because his current
webmaster wan't updating Dans site, teamxmx.com, to his liking) I
think we all well know that Brian does own and operate many online
schools, so many in fact they have become quite redundant. But this
doesn't negate the fact that it is blatently obvious here, which is
that the idea was already set in motion when dan did in fact become
involved.

| your stunt team riders have all quit and want
nothing to do with you | Okay.. lets just sit back and laugh at this one..
Stunt team? We know that these "teams" are little more then groups
of friends who enjoy riding together and sharing each others
company. Its not like everyones on somebodys payroll. It should be
noted that midwest stunters was started, in addition to other
reasons, because Dan would not agree, whatsoever, to add anyone
else's pictures or info, to his website. If this doesn't display a
hint of arrogance, and a lack of comradery, I'm not sure what does.

| ...and as the video, I had alot of friends
help with the dvd. All of them except you two are still good
friends. (there is alot more to it behind the scenes that you
and steve are aware of) | For one thing, I don't like people bringing me
into arguments, and for another, you [Dan] know good and well our
differences, if there even are any, could be easily solved with a
phone call to me on your behalf. A you are too good for that? So
there is a lot more to video production behind the scenes then I am
aware of? Oh really? When did you become mr film school? Lets not
forget who taught you how to edit on a non-linear system. I've
worked in the Kansas City video industry for two and a half years,
in addition to AFLS, and making my own videos on the side. I can
very clearly remember the day I met you- Clint, Brian, You, and I at
the resturant, I showed you "Represent" and you shared my excitement
with the whole movie-thing. Don't forget those days, we were all
naive once, just because you are self-sufficient now doesn't make
you better. "Dance with who brung-ya"... and this is one hell of a
prom. I know what you may be thinking... "He's just siding
with brian" This may be partially true. Dan and I have not been
in contact for well over two months, and I have not once told anyone
that we are no longer friends. I'm just waiting on a phone call that
will probably never come. (Unless its Kortney on the other end).
I've known Brian for about 7 years now, and we've had our share
of thick and thin, but this situation right now with you and brian
is getting retarded. And to everyone else who is browsing this
thread.. thanks for your time. None of you besides Brian, Dan,
myself, and those who are directly involved in this situation will
ever be close to understanding this, so spare yourselves a headache
and don't even try. | |
